Zola's World Hits the Streets

My heart is incredibly full as I reflect on the amazing book signing events and literary festivals Zola’s World, Inc. had the honor of participating in this year. 💜📚
To every parent, educator, child, supporter, advocate, and community member who stopped by our table, shared encouraging words, purchased a book, or supported our mission—THANK YOU.
Every single book purchased helps us continue creating stories that center inclusion, representation, accessibility, and empowerment for Deaf and Hard of Hearing children and families. These moments are bigger than book sales—they are opportunities to help children see themselves reflected in stories with pride, confidence, and joy.
A very special thank you to Roy Wyatt, Founder & CEO of VABEXPO, for creating spaces that intentionally uplift Black authors, entrepreneurs, creatives, and businesses throughout Virginia. VABEXPO continues to be an important platform that strengthens community, visibility, economic opportunity, and cultural connection for Black-owned businesses and creatives.
We also extend heartfelt gratitude to Janie Bell and the Elegba Folklore Society for welcoming Zola’s World into such a meaningful literary and cultural space. The work of the Elegba Folklore Society is so important because it preserves, celebrates, and elevates African and African American storytelling, history, literature, and cultural expression for future generations.
Organizations like these matter deeply because they create spaces where diverse stories are not only welcomed—but celebrated.
As a Deaf/Hard of Hearing-led company, it means so much to be included in spaces that value education, culture, literacy, accessibility, and representation.
Thank you for believing in Zola’s World and supporting a mission dedicated to empowering children through storytelling and inclusive innovation.
We are excited for what’s ahead and grateful for every opportunity to connect with the community one story at a time. ✨📖
